Hi there, thank you for your interest in this position!
I'm looking for someone awesome to join our little team on a full time basis.
The ideal candidate will be extremely diverse, experienced in a wide range of areas and not afraid to take on new challenges at any time with enthusiasm and a solid plan.
A. WHO YOU ARE:
1. Someone with a bit of zest and personality.
2. Someone with experience in multiple areas, including life in general. Having done some travelling would be a great asset.
3. Someone ready to sink their teeth into a position for the long term.
4. Someone no afraid to commit, be engaged and take on new challenges.
5. Someone who is smart, organized, punctual, and believes that communication is everything.
6. Someone who is interested in technology, websites, design, branding, and communication.
7. Someone who believes the best way to communicate something is also the shortest, cleanest way to say something.
B. WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1. Some experience in the Wordpress admin area.
2. Compose eloquent sentences with the fewest number of words possible.
3. An extremely strong command of the English language and a passion for writing.
4. Seek and understand the underlying communication intention in any situation.
5. Strong knowledge of modern design trends (you do NOT need to be a designer) in websites and branding.
6. Some background in on-page SEO.
7. You should be extremely detail-oriented, skilled at fine tuning written copy, visual consistencies, etc.
8. Skills and experience that are very strong assets, but not required:
Podio, SEOProfiler.com, Adobe CreativeCloud, MS Office 365, MagicJack.
C. WHERE & WHEN & HOW:
1. You'll be organizing your own approach to work overall, but we do need to coordinate schedules as much as possible, which will mean some early mornings or late nights your time. Either one is likely fine.
2. You'll need a decent computer, internet connection, power supply, etc. Having significant downtime due to inadequate equipment in this area won't work, so if you're not setup here, this likely isn't the position for you.
3. We use an online project collaboration tool for all our project communication, collaboration, specifications, etc.
I'm sure I'm forgetting things while writing this, but for the moment I think that summarizes who I'm hoping can join our little team!
